School District Budget

Goals

  1. Support building administrators' goals to provide a safe, supportive, and successful learning environment for all students.
  2. Produce, with Administration, a budget for the school year 2026-27 that meets the needs of the district while making best use of the resources we have. We will seek additional ways to engage the community in the process to improve transparency and constituent confidence.
  3. Support the SAU administration in their goals of doing a comprehensive study of our facilities and Special Education system, and to develop a viable Literacy program.
  4. Work with the Superintendent to promote district successes and achievements with all stakeholder groups. We will also continue to develop strong and supportive connections with all community groups, both local and state.
  5. Continue its work through the Board-designated committees to improve the educational system and to make the best use of the resources we are provided.
  6. Follow through on the outcome of the Francestown withdrawal study.
